August 30th

Crazy to think Kennadie turned 9 already! More crazy because i remember like yesterday when i got emails from everyone telling me about her baptism.... yeah a year ago! We had a really great week. The Mission Mendoza had a record August, we had 125 baptisms! This new program from the apostles that we are putting into practice has changed everything mom. Truely sent from the Lord at this time. We´re focusing on the spirit more, and relying on his promptings in everything we do. In every part of the work. Our lessons are filled with the spirit, people just feel it and it´s amazing. We had a great little baptism saturday. One that (as always) had it´s little hicup. Satan didn´t want this beautiful little girl to get baptised! The water in all of Cordon del Plata went out right when we were half way done filling the font. To the whole city..... apparently the pump that pumps the water up from underground broke, when that happens.... goodbye water for at least 4 days. We prayed and prayed, and went outside to see the dried up river bed outside of the chapel that is usually empty running with water. Elder Mitchell and I took buckets and for 3 hours filled the font bucket after bucket. We were exhausted, but knew the lord had blessed us for being patient. The water wasn´t the cleanest haha, but that doesn´t matter. The baptism was great. More than anything in the world i want to see this Murillo family go to the temple before i go home. They´re great, i love them. Eliana is the little girl in they´re family that got baptised. Really neat day. Today we´re off to Mendoza for leadership coucil. I´m hoping we´ll see a very happy President for the record we broke this month. We still have 2 weeks left in the transfer, but I think I´m ready to start a new area. I loved the pictures, I miss little league football. I´m going to help out when i get home without a doubt. Coaching is my passion. I´d love to make it my profession but it´s a type of job that i don´t think would allow me to live how i want to live, or stay in a steady place like Ogden for long periods of time. My ultimate goal is to make a lot of money and be able to retire early and go into coaching. Wouldn´t it be nice?! Haha, I´m lovin Karly´s cheer socks. Tell Carter to keep battling. Every play the hardest he can and he´ll never regret any game no matter the score!
